Obituary of Frank L. Burse

Frank L Burse, age 74, of Pennsville, NJ passed away on January 13, 2021 surrounded by his daughter and son. Born May 5, 1946 in Penns Grove, New Jersey, he was the beloved son of the late Virginia and Robert Burse. Frank was a proud United States Veteran (Eleventh Armored Calvary US Army) who served in Vietnam 1966-1967. He was happily retired from Dupont. Frank was a hard worker and loved the simple things in life. If you ever stopped by the house to see him, you'd most likely find him working in the garage enjoying a cold Miller Lite. He would undoubtedly offer you a beer (or two) and you would find yourself talking and laughing with him for hours. He liked taking road trips to visit family in Virginia and Florida, spending time at his home in the Poconos and taking relaxing vacations in the Caribbean. In his early years, Frank was an avid skier, enjoyed hunting and riding his motorcycles. He loved dogs, especially his Cocker Spaniels Sasha, Dusty and Nikki, who passed before him. Frank is survived by his daughter, Kim Gallagher and her husband Gregg Hoffman of Lewes, DE; his son Steven Burse and his wife Robin of Newark, DE; grandson Jack Gallagher and granddaughter Payton Burse. In addition to his parents Virginia and Robert Burse, Frank was preceded in death by his wife Susan A. Burse; his former wife and the mother of his two children, Darlene C. Burse; and his brothers, Fred Burris, Tommy Whitaker, Connie Waller and Bobby Burse. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Frank's memory to The Blackhorse Association 1901 Club, P.O.
