Doris Clark Rider, Age 82 of Pennsville, died Wednesday Aug. 9 2011 at Salem Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. She was born on July 8 1929 in Manila, Philippines. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Dolores Clark. She married T/Sgt Jaime C. Rider Sr. and spent 20 years of her life as an Air Force wife. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved her family and her many friends who she loved as her extended family. She has lived in Pennsville for the past 30 years. She was predeceased by her two brothers, William J. and Larry Clark, and son James C. Rider. She is survived by her husband, T/Sgt. Jaime C. Rider Sr. (USAF-Ret), sister, Evelyn (Clark) Johnson of California, children: Jaime C. Rider, Jr., SM/Sgt John C. Rider (USAF), M/Sgt Joseph C. Rider (USAF), Jane (Rider) Chan and Jennifer Rider, son-in-law John Chan and Robert Haldeman, daughters-in-law, Malinda Rider, Heather Rider and future daughter-in-law Linda Mantooth. Grandchildren: Christina Rider and her fiance James Sagnella, Jayme Lynn and her husband Josh Hopman, Jennifer Hitchner, PVT. 1st class Andrew Chan (army), Christopher J. Chan, William J. Rider, Jaime C. Rider III and Robert J. Haldeman. She requested a private funeral and the family is honoring her wishes. She wanted to say that she will miss seeing all of her friends at the China Inn especially Grace, all of the employees at ACME, Peebles, The Dollar Tree, Big Mike's Grill and her friends that she has made in Pennsville all these years. She always admired and talked highly of all of you. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the American Cancer Society.
