Mary Anne Stevens 1940 – 2021 Mary Anne Stevens, age 80 of Pennsville passed away on Sunday January 3, 2020 at the Southgate Health Care Center, Carneys Point, NJ. She was born in Woodbury to the late George Elmer Phifer and Virginia Electra Leach Phifer on May 6, 1940. Mary Anne was predeceased by her sister Jeanne V. Banff, brother, Robert L. Phifer and a daughter Patti A. Wascheck. Survived by a daughter, Virginia (Tom) Herman, son, A. Jeff (Denise) Stevens, grandsons, David Herman, Tommy (Lana) Herman, Thaddeus Wascheck, Marshall Wascheck, Dalton Stevens, and a granddaughter Theresa (Tony) Burch, great grandson's, Jack Burch, Sam Burch, Theo Herman and sister-in-law, Phyllis Phifer. She had worked as a nurses aid at the former Salem County Nursing Home in Mannington Twp., an in home caregiver and Foster/Adoptive parent to Annie, James, Kashie, Polly, and Isiah in the Dyfus System. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed shopping, yard sales, and going to Ocean City, NJ on vacations. Mary was loved by all and will be dearly missed. Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.
