Obituary of Charlotte R. Gray

Charlotte Ruth Gray Charlotte Ruth Gray, 81 died of cancer at her home of Pennsville, NJ after being ill for several months. Born in Wilmington, DE, daughter of Howard and Laura Alexander Reamer, she lived most of her adult life in Pennsville, NJ. She graduated in 1957 from Wilmington High School. For 25 years, Charlotte, "Ruth" was a teacher and assistant director of Busy Hands Nursery School in Pennsville, NJ .She also worked as a corporate receptionist at Mannington Mills, NJ where she retired after 14 years of service in 2015. Ruth was a long-time member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church and more recently with New Hope United Methodist Church, both in Penns Grove, NJ. She was very active with both churches. In addition to horseback riding with her two horses "Frizzle" and "Mr. Brown", Ruth enjoyed planting flowers and landscaping. She frequently attended concerts and musical productions. Surviving relatives include her sons, Paul D. of Wilmington, DE, John R. of Pennsville, NJ and her wonderful twin sister, Diane Wagner of Newark, DE. Ruth was predeceased by her husband Milton Paul Gray Jr. (Sonny) in 1994 and her siblings Norman Reamer of Effort, PA, Thomas Reamer of Wilmington, DE, Lillian Barrett of Newark, DE and Theresa Siegfried of Stanton, DE. There will be a small private burial service for immediate family only.
