Eleanor M. Agnew Obituary

Eleanor M. Agnew, age 84 of Pennsville died Monday October 25, 2010 at her residence. Born in Wilmington, DE she was the daughter of the late Howard and Emily Myers Teat. Eleanor was a longtime Pennsville resident. She was formerly employed as a medical receptionist for Dr. Vedat Atlig in Pennsville for many years. Eleanor was a member of the Queen of the Apostles RC Church in Pennsville and she was also active in the PTA for the Pennsville School District Survived by her sons, Charles T. Agnew of Voorhees and Thomas H. Agnew and his wife Donna of Mullica Hill, granddaughter Alysia Agnew Paparo and her husband Stephen of Williamstown, great granddaughter, Gianna Paparo, half sisters, Diane Simpkins of Newark, DE and Michelle Freitas of San Diego, CA. Predeceased by her husband of 57 years Thomas L. Agnew (2005) and a grandson Scott Agnew. A memorial Mass will be held 10:00 AM Friday Oct 29 at the Queen of the Apostles RC Church, Pennsville where friends may call after 9:30 AM. Burial of Cremains will follow at the Salem County Veterans Cemetery, Pilesgrove. In lieu of flowers please make memorial contributions to the Scott T. Agnew Memorial Scholarship fund , c/o Woodland Country Day School, 1216 Roadstown Rd., Bridgeton, NJ 08302.
