Obituary of Eileen M. Romansky

Eileen Mae Romansky (nee Denelsbeck) passed into eternal rest on December 8, 2016 after a brief illness. Eileen was born in Vineland, NJ on July 21, 1930 to Lena Ivy and David J. Denelsbeck. She was married to John B. Romansky on June 26, 1948 and they recently celebrated their 68th wedding anniversary. Eileen was an active member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Pennsville and served as the president of the JOY Circle for many years. She sang in the choir and organized many dinners and auctions at the church. She was also active in Girl Scouts, leading a troop for her daughters for many years as well as leading a Cub Scout den for her sons. She was an avid puzzler and amassed a large collection of Santas that filled her home. Survivors include her husband of 68 years, John B. Romansky; her four children: Sharon (Dan) Bagnell of Bowie, Maryland; John (Beverly) Romansky of Anderson, South Carolina; Gary (Janice Hall) Romansky of Morrison, Colorado; and Jamie Romansky of Pennsville. There are four grandchildren: Peter Bagnell, Patrick Bagnell, Chris Romansky, and Sara Moore, and three great-granddaughters: Ava Romansky, Aggie Romansky, and Abigail Bagnell as well as countless relatives and friends. A viewing will be held on Monday, December 12, 2016 from 10-11 a.m. at Laughrey Funeral Home, 1 North Broadway in Pennsville with a service celebrating her life following at 11 a.m. Burial will be in the Veterans' Cemetery in Pilesgrove, NJ. A luncheon will follow the burial at Trinity United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, friends may donate to any breast cancer association or to The Diabetes Association.
