Shirley A. Hathaway, age 78 of Pennsville, NJ died Wednesday June 21, 2023 at the Southgate Health Care Center, Carneys Point, NJ. She was born in Penns Grove, NJ and was the daughter of the late John E. Hathaway and Sadie Ritchie Hathaway. Shirley was a lifelong Pennsville resident.
Survived by her son, Kenneth V. Hathaway and his wife, Brenda of Pennsville, nieces, Margo Burke, Rebecca McCollough, Susan Tyson, and Judy Laxton, nephews, William and Thomas Tussy, 4 step grandchildren.
Besides her parents she is predeceased by her brother, Ernest Hathaway and sisters, Harriett "Hattie" Hathaway, Mary Tussey, Naomi McCollough and Elaine Hathaway.
Funeral services will be held at 7:00 PM on Tuesday June 27th at the Laughrey Funeral Home, Pennsville, NJ where friends may call from 6:00 to 7:00 PM prior to the service. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
