Obituary of Thelma J. Hiles

Thelma Hiles age 76 passed unexpectedly on July 11, 2020 after a brief illness. She was born in Waynesville, NC and was the daughter of the late Millard Meadows and Hester Henson Meadows. Thelma was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
Thelma is survived by her husband William Hiles and her dog Missy. Son and daughter in law Matthew and Sondra Hiles , Grandchildren Max, Kane and Tori Hiles. Siblings JD Meadows, Mattie Meadows , Helen Grant and friend Stell Stultz .
Thelma was predeceased by her son Jeff Hiles and brothers James and William Meadows.
Thelma was a stay at home mom until the boys entered high school. She went to work and retired when her grandchildren were born. Thelma loved being a Mom-Mom and helped out with the grandkids throughout their lives. Sunday family dinners and holidays were the highlights for Thelma when she could cook for the whole family.

There will be a graveside service at Lawnside Cemetery in Woodstown NJ, Friday July 17th at 10:00 am.
