Carroll J. Strong "CJ", Jim, Deeds 85 years old, passed away on June 30, 2020. Born June 12, 1935, in Virginia to Sula Baker an Richard A. Strong. Carroll was a graduate of Salem High School class of 1954. He served for four years in the United States Air Force and attended in University of Delaware. He was a general contractor for 50 plus years at Cordrey, Strong Construction. CJ served his local community as a member and was a past president of the Pennsville Rotary Club and he was a recipient of the Prestigious Paul Harris Fellow award. He is survived by his wife, Joan (Cordrey), daughter Cheryl S. Hagerty (Mark), granddaughters, Cynthia Megan and Lindsey Morgan Hagerty, all of Hockessin Delaware. One brother, Robert R. (Pam), Twin nephews Carroll B. and Tyler S. (Kelly) of North Carolina, niece Angie Roberson (Charlie). Due to the Covid 19-Pandemic a small service will be held at the Laughrey Funeral Home, One North Broadway, Pennsville, NJ. Burial will be at the St. Mary's Cemetery, Salem.
