Paul R. Childs, age 84, of Carney's Point died on Saturday March 28, 2020 at Friends Village of Woodstown. He was born in Salem in 1936 and was the son of Elizabeth Smith and Thomas Childs. Paul was a lifelong resident of Salem County.
Survived by his three sons, Paul R. Childs, Jr. and his wife Margaret of Pedricktown, Martain L. Childs and his wife Dianne of Pedricktown, and Brian K. Childs and his wife Loree of Brunswic,k Maryland, grandchildren Martain, Bradley, Evan, Lindsay and Meggan, and great grandchildren Corbin, Austin, Braxton, Juliette, Kyle and Graham. Predeceased by his wife Katherine of 53 years and his son Mark.
Paul enjoyed life to its fullest and was a senior member of the Salem Beagle Club. He was an avid outdoorsman as well as a great supporter of the high school football leagues in the tri county area. He was a career master machinist for Georgia Pacific in Wilmington.
