Charles M. Haggerty, age 90 of Pennsville, NJ died peacefully on Tuesday August 20, 2019 at Sterling Manor, Maple Shade, NJ. He was born in Philadelphia PA and was the son of the late Charles A. and Margaret B. Devereux Haggerty. He was employed as a sales manager for the Elkay Appliance in Jenkintown, PA. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War and was a former member of the Queen of the Apostles RC Church of Pennsville. Survived by a daughter, Margaret "Margie" M. Haggerty of Jacksonville, NC and a grandson, Jonathan C. Roark of Mountain City, TN. Predeceased by his wife Jean E. Knopf Haggerty, daughtes, Deborah Connor, and Doloeres J. Haggerty. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 2:00 PM on Monday August 26 at the St. Gabriel the Archangel Parish, Corpus Christi Church 369 Georgetown Rd., Carney's Point, NJ 08069. Friends may call Monday afternoon from 12:00 to 1:30 PM at the Laughrey Funeral Home, Pennsville, NJ. Burial will be at the Lawnside Cemetery, Woodstown, NJ. www.laughreyfuneralhome.com
