Jim hired me in 1994 to work in the Construction Section at CFSC. It was a privledge to work for Jim. He taught me construction contracting and also showed me how to be a kind and compassionate supervisor. He was the best!
Jim was a terific cook. He would cook something wonderful and bring it into the office for a treat -- his cheesecakes were to "die for". Many years he would make me a "special treat" for my birthday!
When I visited army installations to do a construction project, one of the first questions I would be asked is, "How is Jim Featherer?" He was respected and liked throughout the army.
Jim, I miss you and may God bless and keep you always!
