Obituary of Dustin C. Messick

Dustin C. Messick, 24, of Pennsville, NJ, died Saturday June 8, 2019 in Cooper Medical Center, Camden, NJ after receiving head injuries on Monday evening in an auto accident. He is survived by his father, Darryl T. Messick (Robin), two brothers, Timothy of Penns Grove and Samuel of Salem. He is also survived by many aunts and uncles, cousins, friends and his favorite aunt, Wilma Messick, of Florida. He was predeceased by his mother Theresa Glaspy Messick (2017), his maternal grandparents, Roland and Janet Glaspy and his paternal grandparents, Harry and Emily Messick. Dustin attended Pennsville Memorial High School (Class of 2014) and Salem Vocational School, learning the welding trade. Dustin (only family could call him Dusty), loved working on cars, trucks, or anything he could take apart and put back together again. Dustin enjoyed hunting, fishing, horseback riding, four wheeling, canoeing, and basically any outdoor activity. He was an avid Eagles fan. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him and will be forever in our thoughts. In lieu of flowers and in Dustin's memory, please be nice to someone today. Burial will be private and at the family's convenience. Arrangements are by Laughrey Funeral Home, Pennsville, NJ.
