Obituary of Margaret M. Brunhammer

Margaret M. Brunhammer, age 79, passed away suddenly on Friday, May 3, 2019 after a brief battle with Stomach Cancer. She passed at the home of her daughter in Bridgeton, NJ and was surrounded by loving family. She was born August 23, 1939 to Norman and Flora McCauley in Pennsylvania , then later raised by Norman and Evelyn McCauley in Pennsville, NJ. She attended Salem High School and until her passing, met with high school friends monthly for lunch. She married Julius E. Brunhammer (deceased) in 1958. She retired from Target where she was a Front Line Manager and had also worked at Hygrade Baking Co. She also worked for the Weight Watchers organization for many years. Her many talents included intricate cross stitch, crochet, country line dancing, sewing, singing along to her favorite songs and cooking. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her 5 children – Sons Norman, Thomas, Walter and daughters Theresa (Kaufmann) and Vicki (Tepper). She had 7 Grandchildren, 12 Great-grand children and numerous nieces and nephews. Family, friends and others whose lives Margaret touched are invited to the Inn at Salem Country Club, 91 Country Club Road, Salem NJ on Tuesday, May 7th from 6-8pm to honor her memory with a Celebration of life Service.
