Neil Sheridan, age 77 and a longtime resident of Pennsville, New Jersey passed away Saturday April 20,2019 at the Memorial Hospital of Salem County. Neil was born on June 16, 1941 to the late Thomas J. and Kathryn B. Mooney Sheridan. Neil served our country during the Vietnam War as a member of the US Army. Neil was an avid democrat. He worked for general motors before venturing out on his own to open a convenience store in Virginia. He then returned to Pennsville to take care of his mother. While residing in Pennsville he started a successful landscaping business. Upon retirement from landscaping Neil could be found with a smile on his face greeting shoppers at the Pennsville Walmart. Neil was a simply amazing man who will be sorely missed by family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday April 26, at the Laughrey Funeral Home, Pennsville where friends may call from 9:00 to 10:00 AM prior to the service. Burial will be held at the Lawnside Cemetery, Woodstown, NJ at a later date. www.laughreyfuneralhome.com
