Obituary of Curtis A. Kiger

Please share a memory of Curtis to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Curtis Allen Kiger, 58, of Pennsville, New Jersey, passed away at his home on Sunday, March 17, 2019. Curt was born in Osaka, Japan, to parents, Carlton and Sachiko Kiger. He was the eldest of four children (Janet, Cheryl, and Jeffrey). He graduated from Penn State University with a bachelor's degree in entomology and worked as a manager at DuPont for over 25 years. He married his wife, Flossie (Ray), in June of 1986 and they had three daughters, Toni Lynne, Megan Rae (Ryan Karr), and Lauren Ann. Curt had a number of loyal pets throughout his life, including his German shepherd best friend of 12 years, Gus. You could usually find him watching Ghost Hunters in the middle of the night or organizing his coin collections. He loved studying insects and the stars, and when he could, enjoying a meal on the waterfront with his wife. He was a wonderful singer, a comedian, a mathematician, an artist, a chef, and an extremely passionate patriarch. He more recently adopted the name "Poppy" and spent most Sunday nights having tea parties or playing Wii bowling with his granddaughter, Aurora. He nicknamed his second granddaughter "Rosebud" (Rosalie), and would have gone to the ends of the Earth for all six of his girls. Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. www.laughreyfuneralhome.com
