Thursday, February 14, 2019Dear Family of Joan Pennington, I was so sadden to learn of Auntie Joan's passing. She was a very good friend in law school and afterwards an "auntie" to my two children who adored her. We moved from NJ in 1988, but I will always remember her for her strength, her vitality and her undying commitment to social justice for all. She was a great role model and I am sorry we lost touch the last several years. My sincere condolences. Ann Howard

Saturday, February 2, 2019We want to send our deepest sympathies to all of the family for Aunt Joan. If there is a celebration of her life or any kind of service we could attend to pay respects to all of her children and grandchildren we'd like to be notified. I know most of the time they keep the deceased for at least a year or close to it for science. Just keep us informed. We love all of you

Friday, January 18, 2019Donna, I extend my sincere condolences to your family. May the paths to healing be abundant and comforting. I hope that you are strong for each other in this difficult time. May the wonderful memories serve as stepping stones as you travel on. It is but a brief moment that we travel this life. Our loved ones and friends make the moment seem all too short. Making the best of each and every day, and of each and every loved one will help us on the roads we must travel in this life. May the comfort of the Angels abound, giving you strength and peace in your trying time. Andre L. Huckoby 18 September 2002
