Obituary of Harold W. Snyder

Harold W. Snyder, age 85 formerly of Pennsville and Alloway died Monday January 7, 2019 at the Veterans Memorial Home-Vineland. He was born in Swedesboro, NJ and was the son of the late Wilbert and Blanche Behringer Snyder. Harold was a lifelong resident of Salem County. He owned and operated the Snyder's News Agency, in Salem, West Chester, Swedesboro, and Penns Grove. He was a Korean War Veteran serving in the US Navy. He is survived by many family members who loved him dearly. He was a husband, father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather, friend and mentor of many. He touched the heart of many with his infectious smile and laugh. Harold loved the outdoors which included hunting, fishing, and gardening. His family would like to extend thanks and prayers to the VA Staff at the Veterans Memorial Home-Vineland. A short celebration memorial of Harold's life will be held on 11:00 AM Saturday January 12, at the Laughrey Funeral Home, Pennsville where friends may call 10:00 to 11:00 AM prior to the service. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
