Irene Nicholes Bower, 97, passed peacefully in her home on September 15, 2018. She was born on January 13, 1921 in Pitman, NJ. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Daniel William Bower and a son, Daniel Arthur Bower. She is survived by her daughter Judith Ann Bradway, daughter in law, Carole Lynn Bower, granddaughter, Danielle Kay Khairzada (Michael), and great granddaughters, Brooke Nicole Khairzada and Kaitlyn Alyssa Khairzada.
She graduated from Pitman High School in 1938. After Marrying Daniel Bower she moved to Quinton Township where she served as a member of the Quinton Township School Board and worked For Snyder's News Store in Salem, NJ. After Moving to Sea Isle City she became a member of the Sea Isle City Methodist Church. She moved back to Elsinboro with her daughter Judy in 2012 and joined the Hancock's Bridge Methodist Church.
Mrs Bower cherished her time with her children, granddaughter, and great granddaughter. She was also a diehard Phillies fan and watched them at every opportunity.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM on Thursday September 20, at the Hancock's Bridge United Methodist 50 Main St. Hancock's Bridge, NJ where family and friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM prior to the service.
