She then started raising her family of 5 daughters. After all the children were in school, she worked at the Penns Grove Regional High School cafeteria for 23 years so that she could balance working and caring for her family. Gloria was an active and dedicated member of the Corpus Christi Church/St. Gabriel the Archangel Parish and generously volunteered her time with Religious Education, Bingo, caring for the church with her good friend Susie Davis, and was a volunteer at the Salem County Memorial Hospital. She was an avid reader and enjoyed praying the Rosary daily.
