Daniel H. Williams, Sr. age 80 of Pennsville died Sunday June 17, 2018 at his residence. He was born in Bluefield, WV and was the son of the late Harry Williams Sr. and Virginia Scandlan Williams. Dan was a longtime Pennsville resident. He was employed in construction for the Carpenters Local 542, Salem where he retired following over thirty years. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran. He was an active member of the Our Merciful Savior Episcopal Church. Survived by his two children, Tracey K. Young and her husband Jim of Gainsboro, TN, and Daniel H. Williams, Jr., brothers, Harry Williams of TX, and Fred Williams of NC., grandson, Morgan Williams, great grandson Ethan Williams and friend, CarolAnn Napoleon. Predeceased by, his wife Shirley Jane Chuchola Williams (2010), sister, Mary Lindsay. Dan enjoyed gardening, Bowling and beekeeping. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday June 21 at the Our Merciful Savior Episcopal Church, 110 East Maple Ave., Penns Grove, NJ. Friends may call Wednesday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the Laughrey Funeral Home, Pennsville. Burial will be at the Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro, NJ. www.Laughreyfuneralhome.com
