Obituary of Alice Margaret Freas

Alice Margaret "Hubbard" Freas age 87 of Pennsville died Wednesday June 6, 2018 at her residence. She was born in Alloway and was the daughter of the late stepfather Frank Schrier and her mother Edith Mae Anderson Wilde. Alice was a longtime Pennsville resident. She formerly worked for Todays Sunbeam and later the Salem County Sampler. She was a life member of the Tillbury VFW 253 Ladies Auxiliary. He enjoyed her family, cruises, Delaware Park and scratch offs, and her baking specialties. Survived by her daughter, Shirley A. Vanneman and her husband William, Edward Freas of Pennsville, and Leon A. Freas, III and his wife Carole all of Pennsville, step daughter, Jean Delp, brother, John Wilde and his wife Linda, sisters, Ella Mae Hackett, Helen Schrier, Mary MacIntyre and her husband Mac, grandchildren, Mackenzie Freas, Michelle Freas, Leon Warner, Edward Freas, Jr., Bonnie Johnson, Chris Owens, Laci Owens, Mary Delp, Susan Ridgeway, Linda Bush. Predeceased by her husband Leon A. Freas Jr. (2000), brothers, Paul, Carl, Frank, Harry, Raymond George Warren Schrier, and Arthur and James Wilde sisters, Mabel Collier, Helen Adams, and Betty Dilmore, grandson, Bobby Delp. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM on Monday June 11, at the Laughrey Funeral Home, Pennsville where friends may call Sunday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 PM.
