Obituary of Fredrick W. Thompson Sr.

Frederick W. Thompson, Sr. Frederick W. Thompson, Sr., age 78 of Pennsville passed Sunday September 17, 2017 at his home. He was born in Pennsauken, NJ and was the son of the late William P. and Margaret Miller Thompson. He was a longtime Pennsville resident. He was employed as an assembler for the former General Motors Plant on Boxwood Rd., Newport, DE where he retired following 26 years service. Survived by a son Frederick W. Thompson, Jr.,(Sherry Cascaden) of Pennsville, daughter, Margie Adkins and her husband Bill of DE, brother, James Thompson and his wife Joyce of Pennsville, sister, Margaret Baker of Pennsville, grandchildren, Courtney Rafine and her husband Levi, Christopher Thompson and his wife Robyn, Amanda Adkins, Jodee Adkins, great grandchildren, Alyssa, Myah, Emmalyn, Kaylee, Karsen, Kinley, Colten, and Chloe, stepdaughter, Ann Marie Pollard and step granddaughter, Destiny Klein and step great granddaughter, Sofia and many nieces and nephews Predeceased by his first wife, Bessie Jess Thompson, and third wife, Margaret Marie Pollard Thompson. Funeral services will be held 7:00 PM on Wednesday September 20th at the Laughrey Funeral Home, Pennsville where friends may call from 6:00 to 7:00 PM prior to the service.
