Obituary of James A. Huesser

James A. Huesser, age 86 of Pennsville, NJ passed away Sunday August 27, 2017 at the Seasons Hospice, Newark, DE. He was born in Glassboro, NJ and was the son of the late Aruthur and Catherine (Ganz) Huesser. He was one of 9 children Jim was the salt of the earth, a kind and gentle man. He was a wonderful husband, father and pop pop. After retirement from DuPont, Jim and his wife Helen traveled extensively. They both have been to all of the lower 48 including Alaska and Hawaii. They also travelled abroad to Iceland, Italy, Ireland, Switzerland, France, and Canada. In his spare time, Jim enjoyed trips to the Cape May shore and loved spending time with family and friends camping. Survived by his wife of 55 years Helen Manning Huesser, son, Edward Huesser and his wife Carol of Elsinboro, NJ, and a daughter, Helen Huesser-McDermott and her husband Jef of Feasterville, PA, grandson, Jeffrey James McDermott, age 5, brothers, Robert and William Huesser. A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday September 7, at the Laughrey Funeral Home, Pennsville, NJ where friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM prior to the service. Burial will follow at the Lawnside Cemetery, Woodstown, NJ. In lieu of flowers please make memorial contributions to the Fox Chase Cancer Center, 604 Cottman Ave., Cheltenham, PA
