Patricia L. Hyson of Salem and formerly of Pennsville died Monday May 15, 2017 at the Memorial Hospital of Salem County. She was born in Salem and was the daughter of the late George Alden and Grace Anna Runkle Parris. Patricia was a longtime Salem County Resident.
Survived by her husband, James W. Hyson, children, Douglas Shaffer, Theresa Turpin (Mike), Wendy Shaffer, Ronald Shaffer (Connie), Bridgette Howard (John), stepchildren, Tracy Wilson (Michael), Linda Cherry (Steve), Lisa Stuart (Jim), Debi Westcott (Ken Damm) and Beth Ann Irvine (Rich), sister, Sally Mills, niece, Sandi Sutton (Tom), many grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Predeceased by, sister, Alice Kuhlman, son, Donald Shaffer and stepdaughter, Betty Lou Hyson.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Thursday May 18, at the Laughrey Funeral Home, Pennsville where friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM prior to the service. Burial will follow at the Lawnside cemetery, Woodstown.
