Jean E. McDonough, 92, of Pennsville, passed away peacefully on May 31, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.

Jean was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend whose kindness, strength, and loving spirit touched all who knew her. She found great joy in spending time with her family and treasured every moment shared with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her warmth, compassion, and gentle presence will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

She was the beloved mother of Brian Temple (Martha), Thomas McDonough (Dawn), David McDonough (Marie), Donna McDonough, Patricia Sheppard (Lee), and stepdaughter Kathryn Jackson. She is also survived by her sister, Patricia Portman of Florida.

Jean was the proud and loving grandmother of 13 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren, all of whom brought immense happiness to her life.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Thomas McDonough; her parents, John Hill and Josephine Hahn; and her sister, Mary McCarty.

A faithful member of St. Gabriel the Archangel Parish, Jean carried her faith with grace throughout her life and found comfort and strength in her devotion.

Jean's legacy of love, kindness, and dedication to her family will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Funeral services will be held privately by the family.
