Beth Ann Zane Obituary

Beth Ann Zane of Little Rock, AR, passed away peacefully on April 2nd, 2026 at the age of 83. She was born on June 29th, 1942, to Mabel (Alfred) and Theodore (Jeanne) Hawn, in Salem, New Jersey. She attended Pennsville Elementary school and graduated from Pennsville Memorial High School in 1960. After graduating from Goldey Beacom College, she worked for Verizon (all under the names AT&T, NJ Bell and Bell Atlantic) for 30 years and taught knitting and crocheting at Pennsville Adult Education Classes. She married David E. Zane in 1965 and together they shared 27 wonderful years and two beautiful sons. In 2023, she moved to Little Rock, Arkansas to be closer to her great-grandson, whom she loved immensely. Beth was always an active member of her church, having perfect attendance in Sunday school from kindergarten to twelfth grade and then attending virtually from Little Rock, AR. Beth enjoyed crocheting, knitting, needle point, and gardening and was known for her handmade heirloom gifts. She will be lovingly remembered by her sons: David (Dee) and Richard (Vanessa), her daughter-in-law: Catherine; her sister: Linda; her grandchildren: Alison (Grace), Stephen, Bobby (Shawn), Callie, Sean, Spencer; her great-grandchildren: Theodore and Lainey; and many cherished friends.
