Michael P. Litzinger Obituary

Michael P. Litzinger, 76 of Deepwater, NJ died unexpectedly on March 16, 2026. He was born on July 13, 1949 and was the beloved son of Carl and Catherine (nee Bushwack) Litzinger.

He was affectionately known as Bonedaddy to everyone who knew him. He proudly served his country by enlisting in the United States Navy (68-70) serving in the Vietnam War as a Sea Bee and was a Purple Heart recipient. He married Annette Palmer, the love of his life, in 1978 and had 4 children. He worked at Dupont Chambers Works for 40 years as a Chemical Operator/Engineer, retiring in 2014.

Michael was an avid outdoorsman, hunter and exceptional carpenter who could build anything with just a mere vision in his head. His yearly vacations were legendary and often included carloads of friends, family and anyone who wanted to tag along. His love for the outdoors along with his carpentry skills led him and a handful of friends, known to everyone as 'The Wolf Pack ' to build a Cabin in upstate NY (Adirondacks) becoming a place people used for hunting, family fun or just a place to escape into nature. Mike was a self-less man, who not only showed up for his family but would show up for anyone in need. His generosity was limitless, believing you should treat others how you want to be treated and if you knew Bonedaddy, you were definitely "in the loop"

Michael was predeceased by his wife Annette Litzinger, his parents Carl and Catherine, his In-laws Lee and Anna Palmer, his brothers Robert and Larry, his sisters Shirley, June and Cynthia.

Michael is survived by his children Timothy, Gregory (Monica), Rachel (Barry), Amber (Collin). His siblings, David Litzinger, Carole Pierce and Patrick (Sandra) Litzinger. His grandchildren RiLeh, Jaedin, Ryver, Mikayla, Nathaniel, Kiera, Violet, Collette, Annette and Fletcher.
