Barbara Dee Puckett (Barb), 86, of Pennsville, NJ passed away peacefully on Friday November 28, 2025, at Christiana Hospital, Newark, DE.

Barb was born in Shenandoah, PA, on January 21, 1939, the daughter of the late John Norris and Martha Rhoads Norris, and was a lifelong resident of Pennsville, NJ.

Barb graduated from Salem High School and was later employed by Freedom Ford Car Dealership in Wilmington, DE, for many years, perhaps a result of her love of Ford Thunderbirds. Barb had a passion for dogs and spent few years without at least one dog in her life, often commenting that she preferred dogs to people. She had a unique sense of humor, that never failed to entertain, both others and herself. Barb always had music playing somewhere in the house. She loved blue crabs, hot dogs, licorice and fudge. In her later years she became an avid puzzle solver on her computer.

Barb is survived by her husband, Thomas J. Puckett, a son, Greg Sammons (Sharon), a daughter, Donna Ivaneyko, a stepson Thomas Sammons (Susan), three stepdaughters, Kellie Moore (Ben), Susan Terranova (Tim) and Kathryn Duricek (Pete), a brother Jack Norris (Marge), eight step-grandchildren and two step-great grandchildren. Barb was preceded in death by her parents and one step-grandchild.

Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.
