Christine P. (Cooksey) Immediato, 62, left this earthly life on February 14, 2026, after a lengthy illness. She was born on April 1, 1963, in Mannington, New Jersey to her father, James Cooksey and mother, Marilyn Evans Dise.

Christine was raised in Pennsville, New Jersey, and continued living there until her passing. She graduated from Pennsville High School in 1981 and enjoyed being on the pom-pom squad. After high school she began working at the New Jersey Judiciary, Salem County Family Court, retiring from the position of Judiciary Clerk 4 in 2022, after 36 years.

All that knew Christine will remember her sweet caring heart and infectious positivity.

She brought a perspective of love and wonder to all of her passions, including gardening and taking great pride in her lawn. She loved the Hallmark channel, her willingness to break loose on the dance floor at a moment's notice, and a love for "heading to the beach". Christine loved nothing more than spending time with her family and many life-long friend groups. Her home was always as warm as she was, reflected in her decorating with stars, hearts, bears, and baskets.

She is survived by her husband Carl Immediato, her two sons, Anthony Norris and wife Olivia with granddaughters Mila and Gianna (Panama City Florida) and Charles Ashfield Jr. (Pennsville, NJ) with grandchildren Axton and Rebel, her brother John Cooksey and his wife April (Gibbstown, NJ), niece Halle, and nephews Jeffery and Ty, her parents, father James Cooksey and his partner Lois Conover (Pike Creek, DE), and her mother Marilyn Dise and stepfather Marlin (Naples, FL), and her stepchildren Melayna, Seth, Kyle, Luke, and Leah. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Aulbreigh Ashfield.

Visitation will occur from 10:00 am to 11:30 am on February 20, 2026 at Laughrey funeral home in Pennsville, NJ. The memorial service will follow at 11:30 am on that same date at the funeral home. There will not be a graveside service.
