Bernard A. Finucan, Jr. Obituary

On January 13, 2026, my darling husband, Bernard (Bernie) Finucan, Jr., passed away at home in Pennsville, New Jersey, with family at his side.

Bernie was born in Pittsburgh, PA, on June 29,1951 to Bernard, Sr. and Bertha Krause Finucan, both deceased. One of ten children, he grew up in a small town on Neville Island where he graduated from Neville High School.

He was employed as a welder for Dravo Corporation and became a Boilermaker for Pittsburgh DesMoines Steel Corporation where he joined Boilermaker Local 28 in New Jersey, being retired for over 15 years.

Bernie enjoyed many hobbies and interests, including fishing. hunting, motorcycling, gardening, shooting pool, playing horseshoes, among others. He also enjoyed camping at his camp in the Allegheny Mountains

He was beloved by many friends and family, including his wife of 52 years, Karen (Rock) Finucan, and loving sons, Christopher (Stacie), Justin (Meara), and Casey. He also took great pride in his five grandsons and two granddaughters. He had two brothers: Michael and Timothy (deceased), and seven sisters: Wilma, Carol (Jory), Linda, Barbara, Patty (deceased), Bertha (deceased) and Joane (deceased) as well as several nieces and nephews.

He will be sorely missed by many friends and family.
