William R. "Bill" Greene age 87 of Pennsville, NJ passed away peacefully on January 9, 2026 surrounded by his loving family.

William was born in Atlantic City, NJ to the late Florence (nee: Hartfuss and Samuel Greene on March 4, 1938.

After graduating from Salem High School in 1956 William entered the United States Marine Corps where he proudly served his country from 1956-1959.

William was a devoted Husband, Father, and Brother. He enjoyed spending time with family, picnicking, boating, camping and swimming. William also enjoyed cars, and taking his son Billy, to the shooting range.

William is preceded in death by his parents, as well as his older siblings, Samuel and June. He is survived by his wife of nearly sixty six years, Constance; his son William, Jr. (Sharon), his younger brother, Larry; two grandsons, Joshwa and Jeremy; as well as three great grandchildren.

William will be tremendously missed by all who knew and loved him.

Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM on Friday January 16th at the Lawnside Cemetery, 1017 Route 40, Pilesgrove, NJ.
