Cindy Simpson, age 66, passed away on January 3, 2026, surrounded by loved ones.

Cindy worked as a beloved caregiver for many years, first as a personal caregiver and then at the Salem adult day care center. Throughout her life she provided comfort and care to many. She easily established bonds with the patients and put smiles on their faces each day.

Cindy was a fighter through life and knew how to survive the hardest of times, including a battle with cancer. She loved her children and grandchild with her whole heart. Cindy led her life with compassion and always opened her home to anyone who needed a place to stay.

She was born on May 30, 1959, in Salem County, daughter of the late Rose and Larry Morgan.

Cindy was the loving wife to the late Russell Simpson. She is survived by her three children Larry Simpson and his wife Jennifer Simpson, Morgan Simpson, and Jami Simpson. She was a cherished grandmother, or "Mommom", to Jeremy Simpson. She is also survived by her sister Valerie Morgan.

A memorial service will be held on 7:00 PM Monday January 12th at the Laughrey Funeral Home, Pennsville, NJ where friends may call from 6:00 to 7:00 PM prior to the service. Burial will be private.
