Sally F. Hitchner, age 89 of Alloway Township died Sunday December 7, 2025 at the Inspira Medical Center Vineland, NJ. She was born in Winslow Twp., NJ and was the daughter of the late Joseph Boyce Weeks and Ruth Blatherwicke Weeks. Sally was a lifelong Salem County resident.

involved with ADGA (American Dairy Goat Association) for many years, served as president of the ADGA Convention Booth.

50+ years in Salem County 4H (leader of Alloway Thumpers, Salem Co Seeing Eye, Salem Co Dairy Goats)

President of Conservative Baptist Women's Missionary Society

Army wife of Vietnam War Vet, Vernon Leroy Hitchner, serving 20+years stationed in:

Germany (two different times) Baltimore, MD, Socorro, NM and Milwaukee, WI

Long time member of Park Bible Baptist Church in Pennsville

Attended Quinton Baptist Church

Lived happily in Alloway since 1973 raising Golden Retrievers, horses, beef cattle, dairy goats, pygmy goats, bunnies, sheep, geese, ducks, cats, and donkeys. (she loved her animals!)

Mom loved her Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, loved her country, loved her family, loved her animals, and loved vacations with her family (Ocean City and Walt Disney World MANY MANY times)

We will miss her very much and looking forward to a wonderful reunion in Heaven someday.

Funeral services will be held 6:00 PM on Wednesday December 10th at the Quinton Baptist Church where friends may call from 5:00 to 6:00 PM prior to the service. Burial will be at the Salem County Veterans Cemetery.
