Dolores "Dee" Pfeuffer of Pennsville, NJ died at home on Thursday, August 21, 2025 surrounded by loved ones and the essence of loved ones after navigating a brief illness.

She was born on April 8, 1939 in Bronx, NY. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Herb, as well as their children: Dolores "Lore" (Steven), Jerry (Angie) and Bonnie (Abe) and grandchildren: Quentin, Denton (Brie) and Macie.

Beloved wife, mother, babcia, Dee was a light to her family and all who met her. She lived a life in service to her family, church, and community. A tireless optimist, she sought to make the world kinder by leading a purpose-driven life. In addition to raising her children, she was a caretaker for both of her parents and mother-in-law. Dee believed her family was her vocation and was proud of her children and grandchildren, taking great joy and pride in all of them.

Dee also served others through many organizations where she was a tireless volunteer, including the Cathedral Kitchen in Camden, NJ, Legion of Mary and Good Samaritans. Her professional career spanned from retail organizations to working as a caregiver. In whatever capacity she served, Dee met all others with a kind smile and heart. She infused joy into everyday living and will be dearly missed.

Dee's life is best reflected in these verses from Proverbs 31: 28, 29: "Her children rise up and praise her; her husband, too, extols her: 'Many are the women of proven worth, but you have excelled them all.'"

Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.
