Bonnie Jean Bechtold, 64, of Alloway, NJ passed away on February 16, 2025 surrounded by loved ones.
Bonnie was born on December 18, 1960 in Lawrence, MA and grew up in North Andover, MA. She served in the U.S. Navy as a dental assistant and was employed by Walmart for 30 years. Bonnie, or Nanny as she was known by many, was an avid sports fan and was always the most competitive person in any game. She loved traveling with her family and was always up for any adventure. She spent her summers at the beach in Wells, ME.
She is predeceased by her father, Daniel Mattos and her brother, Donn Mattos. She is survived by her mother, Janice Welch, sister, Lynne Valenzuela, Ex husband Bill Bechtold, son, William Bechtold Jr, daughter in law Amy Bechtold, daughter Erin Bechtold, grandchildren Jaysen Bechtold, Jessica Spratt, Jadelynn Stoffyn, Skyler Bechtold and Kai Bechtold as well as many other nieces, nephews and extended family.
A private service will be held at Finn's Point National Cemetery.
