Meghan Scott passed away on December 15th, 2024, surrounded by loved ones, after a sudden illness.
Meghan was a lifelong Salem County resident. She graduated from Pennsville Memorial High School in 2005 and went on to earn an Associate Degree in Psychology from Salem Community College. She recently started a new job as a technician at CTDI in Logan Township, NJ.
Meghan loved adventures such as hiking in the woods and exploring historic sites. She had a great sense of humor and an infectious laugh. She was a talented and creative artist. Her loss will be felt deeply by those who loved her.
Meghan is survived by many loved ones from Pennsville, NJ; her loving partner Bill Carpenter, her parents Jeffrey and Starlyn Scott, her sister Erin Scott (Melissa), and her nieces Colleen and Julie Scott. She is also survived by her brother Ryan Scott of Detroit, Michigan, many aunts, uncles, and cousins, many longtime friends, and multiple fur babies.
Meghan was predeceased by her paternal grandparents William and Helen Scott of Pennsville, NJ and her maternal grandparents James and Doris Givens, of Farmington, Delaware.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM on Friday December 20th at the Laughrey Funeral Home, Pennsville where friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM prior to the service. Burial will be private.
