It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of William "Butch" Lloyd of Pennsville, NJ. After a brief illness he passed away at Christiana Hospital surrounded by family on November 13th, 2024. He grew up in Penns Grove, NJ and was a 1964 graduate of Penns Grove High School. He was predeceased by his parents, Harold Lloyd and Margaret Lloyd (Walters), his wife of 54 years Barbara Lloyd (Durr) and his daughter Jamie Lloyd-Cameron. He is survived by his son, William "Butch" Lloyd Jr, his daughter Michelle Lloyd, grandson Joseph Cameron, Jr all of Pennsville, NJ and sister Kathy Lloyd Isaacson of Maryland. He worked at DuPont since getting out of high school as a lab technician before retiring around 2005. He was an avid Philadelphia sports fan, he hardly ever missed watching a game. He also enjoyed reading books, putting puzzles together, watching movies and surfing on YouTube. He loved his family and animals very much, Baxter his dog and Forrest his cat. You could always count on him for his silly jokes and laughter and always made people feel welcome.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM on Wednesday November 20th at the Laughrey Funeral Home, Pennsville, NJ where friends may call from 10:00 to 11:00 AM prior to the service. Burial will follow at the Lawnside Cemetery, Woodstown, NJ.
