If you knew Clate, I'm sure you heard many of these adventures (He wasn't allowed back).

When he returned home from Germany he was introduced to the love of his life, Jeanette. They met at the Musical in Pennsville (Scooters). They enjoyed partying and traveling with their family for the next 47 years. Clate enjoyed flying, driving his motorcycle, and boating (fishing/crabbing). He became a family man and had to settled down a little. Clate continued many adventures but now it included a RV full of kids! He cherished his time with his family, yearly trips to the shore and trips to Colorado with his 6 children to visit his sister-in-law Barbara Jantz and family.

Prior to Clate's retirement, he worked as an airplane mechanic at UPS for many years. Clate owned a Cessna 357 which he flew to work. In retirement, he filled his days with golf, travel, pool league and spending time with his beloved grandchildren.
