Shirley M. Clarke, age 85 of Carneys Point, NJ died Friday May 14, 2021 at her residence. She was born in Jeannette, PA and was the daughter of the late Harold and Margaret Crosby Ritenour. Shirley was a long time Salem County resident.

Survived by her husband, Richard J. Clarke, children, Earl McDonald, Eddie McDonald, Evelyn Gregorio, Tommy McDonald, Cathy McDonald, Rick (Lori) Clarke, and Cheryl (Tom) Dunn, sisters, Judy Simkins, Patti Brooks, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren whom where the spark that kept her going.

Besides her parents she is predeceased by her first husband, Earl McDonald, sisters, Dollly Muntz and Grace Barnes.

Shirley loved to go the car shows, where she was fondly referred to as the 50/50 lady. One of her favorite car shows each year was held at Story Book Land. Shirley was always on the go, especially going out to the casino, bingo and shopping with her daughter, Evelyn. Most of all she loved the time she got to spend with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Shirley touched so many throughout her life and will be loved and missed by all of us.

Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM on Thursday May 20th at the Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro, NJ
