RICHARD NORMAN MORTON "Rick", "Rich", "Dick" Richard N. Morton, born 22 April 1947, West Grove, Pennsylvania, to Lillian S. (Coates) Morton & Norman B. Morton, raised on his family dairy farm in Hickory Hill PA. He graduated 1965 from Oxford Area High School, served in the United States Army Signal Corps 1966-1969 in stations in Vietnam and Germany, retired from Chrysler in 2001 after thirty years with UAW Local 1183, and enjoyed 14 years as part-time employee of East Coast Sod & Seed. He is predeceased by his parents, his older brother John Kermit Morton, numerous aunts and uncles, and many beloved pets. He will be greatly missed by his survivors; his wife of 35 years, Jennifer A. Abbott-Morton; his sister Constance "Connie" M. Clark (Bill); his brother-in-law Terry F. Abbott and sister-in-law Melissa A. Abbott (John Dillman); his nieces, Caren J. Heintzelman (Josh Klem) and Rebecca V. Speaker (Kenneth); his nephews, Brian J. Heintzelman (Bonnie), and Nathaniel S. Abbott; his great-niece Abigail J. Speaker, great-nephews, Daniel P. Heintzelman and Christian M. Speaker; and his friend Bruce Samuels. Services will be held 2:00 PM on Friday May 13th at the Laughrey Funeral Home, 1 North Broadway, Pennsville NJ 08070 where friends may call from 1:00 to 2:00 PM prior to the service.
