Q: What was one of your favorite qualities of Timothy?
A: Rest in Peace Timmy,
When I started working with Timmy he made me feel welcome and was very helpful when I needed it.
He loved to tease, made you laugh. He also seemed to know when you were feeling down.
We had this debate between us about a train whistle or a ship horn. One time sitting outside I heard the TRAIN whistle and commented on it. He told me it was a ship horn and that was the beginning of him letting me know he heard the whistle, because he knew I would come back with my remark. A few times I was able to tell him, on a foggy morning, now that's a ship horn.
He also had some kind of remark every time I brought in a tomato sandwich for lunch. I told him I like a good Jersey tomato on white bread with mayo and, yes, it's a little wet by lunch time. His first remark was you mean soggy.
When he talked about his vacations in Myrtle Beach, I told him I have always wanted to go there and he might find me in a piece of luggage next time. He said ok, but he also said something funny after that, which I don't remember now. But I think he would have let me ride along, that's the kind of guy he was.
Timmy was a great guy and I am glad I had the pleasure of knowing him.
