Scott Courtney Cottrell, age 55 of Pennsville passed away on Tuesday April 3, 2018 at his residence. He was born September 8, 1962 in Wilmington, DE and is the son of Charles F. Cottrell, Jr. and the late Gloria Laxton Cottrell. He was currently employed as a mechanic for Flowserve in Bridgeport, NJ. He loved the outdoors, fishing & hunting being one of his favorites. Besides his father he is survived by his children, Scott Cottrell, April Schaffer and her husband Aaron, Nicole Cottrell and Courtney Cottrell, brothers, Charles Cottrell and his wife Maria, and Michael Cottrell and his wife Elaine, grandchildren, Gavin, Brody and Austin Schaffer, nieces and nephews, Lauren Pilla and her husband Chris, Catelan Cottrell and her husband Freddie Alford, and Savannah Cottrell, great niece and Nephews, Everly, Freddie and Anthony Alford Funeral services will be held 12:00 PM on Tuesday April 10, at the Laughrey Funeral Home, Pennsville where family and friends may call from 11:00 to 12:00 PM prior to the service. Burial will follow at the Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro, NJ.
