Stephanie Thrasher Mulford, formerly of Salem NJ, passed away peacefully in Dayville CT, on February 25, 2017. Stephanie was born September 12, 1921 to Stephanie and Harry Thrasher. She graduated from Salem High School in 1939 and graduated from the New Jersey College for Women (now Douglass College) in New Brunswick NJ, in 1943. Stephanie returned to Salem High School in 1943 as a Home Economics teacher, remaining in that position until her retirement in 1986. Stephanie loved to travel with her husband David Sr., loved playing bridge, loved her home on the Delaware River in Elsinboro and especially loved being surrounded by her family. Stephanie was predeceased by her Mother and Father, Stephanie and Harry Thrasher and by her beloved husband of 62 years, David A. Mulford, Sr., who passed away on December 14, 2010. She is survived by her children: Stephanie and her husband Hal Keshner of Suffern NY, David Jr. and his wife Kathy of Brooklyn CT, Michael and his wife Lindy of Winston-Salem NC, Mary Jane and her husband Jack Burke of Dayville CT, Jeannette and her husband Francisco Alvarado of Charlotte, NC, and by her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Stephanie was a wonderful wife and mother and will be missed terribly by her family and friends. Friends may call from 9AM – 10:30AM, Thursday March 2, 2017 at the Laughrey Funeral Home in Pennsville NJ, followed by an 11:00AM Mass at St. Mary's Church in Salem NJ.
