Obituary of Thomas R. Wacker

Thomas Wacker, 35 of Pennsville passed on to the arms of our Lord on Saturday, October 8th. Tom was a graduate of Pennsville Memorial High School, and Salem Community College with a degree in Criminal Justice. Tom was formerly employed by Franklin Bank, and was occasionally seen playing the part of Ben Franklin for various occasions. Tom is survived by his parents, Donna Wacker Belanger and Scott Belanger; his beloved sister Erika Rae Belanger and Nicko Rogers. In addition to his immediate family Tom is survived by his Aunt and Uncles, Marianne and Dave Engels of Princeton, NJ and Ted Feierstein of Milwaukee, Wi and his Grandmother Helen Viens of Clarksboro, NJ. He is also survived by many cousins and very close friends who were always by his side through all life's challenges. Tom's maternal grandfather was the founder of Wacker's Trading Post in Pitman, NJ Raymond Wacker who predeceased him but gave him the gift of his love of life and happy-go-lucky personality. Tom enjoyed life to the fullest. He had so many hobbies and took each one to the highest degree, when bowling he had to bowl a 300 game, golfing was an obsession, fishing on the river behind his home, soccer, tennis, shooting pool, darts, and most recently archery. His friends marveled at his ability to master each challenge until it was accomplished. A viewing will be held at Laughrey Funeral Home on Thursday, October 13th, from 7-9PM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 14th at 11 AM at the Lutheran Church of St. Ambrose, 443 S. Broadway, Pennsville. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Lutheran Church of St. Ambrose memorial Fund in Tom's name at 443 South Broadway, Pennsville, NJ 08070.
