Obituary of Lisa J. Boulden

Please share a memory of Lisa to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Lisa Jane Boulden, known by many as "Liza Jane", was born December 17, 1959. She grew up in Lower Alloways Creek and was a graduate of Salem High School and Wilmington University. Lisa was a foodie, traveler, and family historian who loved being with friends and family. She was a friend to everyone who knew her, and beloved mother, sister, aunt, niece and cousin. Lisa loved the Jersey Shore and reeling in weakies on the Delaware Bay. She traveled extensively, taking many memorable road trips across the country with her son. She was an avid photographer as evidenced by the mountains of pictures taken over fifty years that documented her well lived life and the people she loved. She will long be remembered for her humor, easy smile, and giving nature. After a long battle with illness, Lisa died peacefully at home with friends and family by her bedside. Lisa is pre deceased by her parents Millie and Delbert Boulden of Lower Alloways Creek and her beloved canine companion Zelda. Lisa is survived by her son, Christian Boulden of Quincy California, sisters Beverly Marquette (Jack), Terry Elmer (Carl), Beth Smick (Joe), brother Delbert Boulden, ten nieces and nephews, extended family, and countless people who were lucky to call her a friend. A Celebration of Life party will be held in her honor in the Summer of 2017. In lieu of flowers please make a memorial contribution to the American Autoimmune Related Diseases Association at https://www.aarda.org/donate www.laughreyfuneralhome.com
