Norma Jean McClurd, age 88 of Pennsville, passed away on July 11, 2016 at Christiana Hospital, with her family by her side. Born in Wilmington, Delaware, she was the daughter of Alfred George Light and Sara Harper Craig Light. Norma Jean graduated from Penns Grove Regional High School in 1945 and then worked at Dupont's Jackson Lab from 1945 until 1959 when she had her daughter. She was a member of the Union Presbyterian Church in Carney's Point and was also a member of the Pennsville Womens Club for many years. Survived by her husband, Ralph L. McClurd, her daughter, Donna Greever, her brothers, Alan Craig Light (Dorris) of Pennsville, and Alfred John "Jack" Light (Carol) of Carney's Point, and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents and her brother Kenneth Arthur Light (Tina). Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM on Saturday July 16, at the Laughrey Funeral Home, Pennsville where friends may call from 12:00 to 1:00 PM prior to the service. Burial will follow at the Lawnside Cemetery, Woodstown. www.laughreyfuneralhome.com.
