Margaret Ann Gallagher, age 89 of Pennsville went home to be with the Lord on Sunday October 10, 2010 at the Salem County Nursing Home, Mannington. She was born on Nov. 2, 1920 in Philadelphia and was the daughter of the late John and Mary Caputo Fortino. Marge was a resident of Pennsville for the past 60 years.She was a member of the Queen of the Apostles Church of Pennsville and member of the Alter and Rosary Society of the church. She was also a former member of the Pennsville Womens Club and the Pennsville Visiting Nurses Association.Survived by her husband of 70 Years, John H. Gallagher, Sr., Sons, Bill Gallagher and wife Eloise of Raleigh, NC, John H. Gallagher, Jr. and wife Linda of Pennsville, Bob Gallagher and wife Susan of Pennsville, stepsisters, Rose Sanderlin of Pedricktown, and Dorothy Laxton of PA, 6 granddaughters, 11 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.Predeceased by stepmother, Antoinette Fortino, several brothers and sisters and a granddaughter Rene' Gallagher.Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 AM Thursday Oct. 14, at the Queen of the Apostles Church where friends may call from 9:00 to 10:00 prior to the Mass. Burial will follow at the Salem County Veterans Cemetery.
